3.5 hours to come up with the concept, research, use Illustrator to draw, and actually finish the book cover. This is pre-red pen, of course. I think my mind MAY have switched back on after break. Bout time, right?

So there it is. *Sigh* I think my brain turned back on? I'm not sure. It took forever to get this concept. 

First off, the mustache--I love it. This seemed to be the 1920's mustache of choice. Not only that, The Great Gatsby is a hipster book--and who else besides the Roaring Twenties loves a good mustache? I devout Hipster. ;) Connecting the twenties to the recent days.
