Got our grades back, so I'm glad I went. Sort of. Was hoping for a smidgen higher. Blog and Production brought me down to a grade lower than what I was expecting/hoping for.
I'm debating between doing The Great Gatsby, Lord of the Flies, Scarlet Letter, and 1984 for my book cover.
Great Gatsby--I'm leaning more towards the Great Gatsby because I've written a few papers about it and I really enjoy the story and I want to find something interesting from the story to illustrate possibly. I've never illustrated before (Blog about that in the next paragraph). I want to do something with the pool scene. But I'm not sure.
Scarlet letter--I would have a hard time breaking away from simply going with the scarlet A. I don't want to be redundant. Maybe a torn off "A" on a piece of fabric? I don't know. Too typical.
Lord of the Flies--I would love to do something with broken glasses, but is this too over done? Not sure. Considering this one.
1984--Big Brother, 2+2=4 because Big Brother says so... I don't know. Hmm. Thinking.
Continued about Digital Graphics:
I took Digital Graphics last semester, and I'm wishing I took Illustration instead. I feel that would have been more beneficial for Vis Com II, and DG could have waited until Junior year fall semester.
Anyways, I'm going to do research for book covers.

PS I thought I would feel rejuvenated after break....nooope. I want to go sleep and not be stressed out 24/7 already again.
